Henry Scott's Radio Tales

Henry is a published author, music journalist and lifetime Archive Producer on music documentaries. He is also author of the Omnibus Press biography - Procul Harum, The Ghosts of a Whiter Shade of Pale, and director of the award winning music documentary: Tales From Tinpan Alley. Henry has broadcast on Resonance 104.4 FM London's Music and Arts Radio Station since 2009 as well as Portobello Radio London over the past year.

Record Studio Tales will see famous studio engineers and producers talking about the singles and albums they made across 60 years of Recording Studio History beginning with Gerald Chevin who worked at London's Advision Studio at 83 New Bond Street with artists such as Georgie Fame and Julie Driscoll as well as TV themes man, Laurie Johnson, scorer of The Avengers TV series. Show 2 will see Abbey Road's Beatles engineer Ken Scott talking about the making of The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour, The White Album, Procul Harum's A Salty Dog; and David Bowie's Hunky Dory - recorded at Trident studios, St Anne's Court, Soho, London.
