Stuart Gale

Stuart Gale was born and raised in the Isle of Man, in a seaside town, a bit like Scarborough but smaller!!

He presents our weekly Jazz programme: 'Jazz Connections.' A lifelong lover of various genres of music, although he can't play or read a note - his love of Jazz really began with two years spent in the late 70s when at university in New Orleans.

He's fascinated by the lives of jazz musicians as well as their music, and as such was the perfect choice to present our Jazz show.

During the rest of the week he masquerades as a QC as he has done for the past 28 years. He now lives with his wife and producer, Sara, and a few cats. He regularly tries out his musical tastes and cooking skills on his wife and his daughter Isla.

He enjoys discovering types of Jazz and musicians that were previously unknown to him, and he interjects his shows with periodic rants about politics and current affairs!! He relaxes by reading and has a love of ecclesiastical architecture.

Tune in on Sundays at 8pm (Repeated Wednesdays at 10pm) to listen to 'Jazz Connections.'
