Sara is an entirely 'behind the scenes' volunteer. She initially became a part of the Radio Scarborough team in early August 2020, after becoming friendly with Station Controller, Richard Pearson, through a mutual friend online. 

Sara runs our Instagram and Twitter pages, and is an Admin for our Facebook group 'Friends of RS'. However, she also came on board to help with our website under mentorship. Circumstances changed, and she is working on updating it now with Patrick Argent. 

She is married to our 'Jazz Connections' presenter Stuart Gale, and does all the tech work associated with creating his programmes.

She is also responsible for setting up R.S.'s GoFundMe page which, at point of writing, has surpassed the halfway mark of its £2000 goal! All in all, Sara helps out wherever, and whenever, she can for the greatest good of the station. 

In her non- volunteering life, she is an administrator with The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and is a second year student working remotely, with the OU, towards gaining her degree in Philosophy and history.
